A review is to be carried out into controversial traffic calming measures and cycle lane infrastructure near St Flannan’s College in Ennis.
New lanes were put in place in recent weeks and since then, residents in the area have been expressing concern about the impact on road safety and congestion.
The matter has been raised in the council chambers of the Ennis Municipal District and the full County Council meeting this week, which has seen a commitment for a review to be carried out of the new infrastructure as a matter of urgency.
