Herbal cannabis worth €22,000 has been seized at Shannon Airport.
Revenue officers seized 1.1 kilos of the drug, after they stopped and searched a passenger who had arrived on a flight from Tenerife.
The search came after routing profiling, and the drugs were discovered in the checked-in baggage of the passenger, a 31 year old Lithuanian man.

He was arrested by Gardaí and has been detained at Ennis Garda Station.
