Retailers Warned To Be Vigilant Due To Rise In Card Fraud

An Ennis-based retail lobby group is warning retailers to be extra vigilant when accepting card payments.

Card fraud, where a physical payment card isn’t needed, accounted for 16.3 million euro worth of fraud in the first half of 2016, compared to 21 million for the whole of 2015.
