Residents in the county who are currently restricted in who they can sell their homes to may soon be given a reprieve.
The County Council has been asked to be more flexible in the way it applies it’s residency clause to help owners facing negative equity.

The clause restricts homeowners, particularly those who have built one-off dwellings, from selling their homes to people from outside the locality unless they have lived in the property for at least seven years.
