A Shannon resident says anti-social behaviour in the apartment complex where she lives has left her feeling like she’s living in “the slums or the ghetto”.
Residents of Bru na Sionna say they have been subjected to persistent anti-social behaviour from a gang of youths, including broken windows; verbal abuse; being hit with stones; jumping on cars; and urinating in elevator entrances.
A meeting between residents and local gardaí over the ongoing anti-social behaviour has taken place this week.
This woman moved into Bru na Sionna only four months ago, but says she’s already planning on leaving.
