Residents ‘Disturbed’ By Rocky Road Use As Public Toilet

It is claimed that property owners near the Rocky Road area of Ennis are “disturbed” by the transformation of the popular walking route into a “public toilet”.

Councillor Johnny Flynn has written to Clare County Council amid concerns over public health and safety at two illegal encampments.

He’s cited problems relating to a lack of running water or connection to sewers in the area adjacent to the Icarus roundabout at Ballybeg, as well as traffic hazards there and at Latoon roundabout near Dromoland.
