Residents at an apartment complex, built by a Clare businessman in Dublin's Docklands, will find out today if they can stay in their homes.
It was built by Gendsong, a company owned by Lisdoonvarna developer and former County Councillor Bernard McNamara which has now gone into receivership.
It's facing a four million euro bill for remedial works, as the building doesn't meet fire safety standards.
Richard Eardley lives in one of the apartments in Longboat Quay – He says it's his understanding that fire certs were issued on plans rather than the finished development.
