A group of researchers who have explored the potential for community-led renewable energy options in Loop Head are to present their findings tomorrow.
The group, who travelled to Ireland from the University of Flensburg, have been based in Carrigaholt since the end of January.
Working with local communities, the group have explored a range of renewable energy models that could provide the blueprint for energy provision in the peninsula.
The project has been facilitated by Astoneco Management whose Managing Director John Aston is urging people to come along tomorrow, and help turn this potentially important project into a reality.
The findings will be presented at the Kilkee Bay Hotel tomorrow from 9:30 to 2:30.
