Rescued Migrants ‘Traumatised’ After Drowning Tragedy

Hopes of finding any more survivors from the latest tragedy in the Mediterranean are fading.

367 migrants were rescued by the LE Niamh on Wednesday when their boat, carrying 600 people, capsized off the coast of Libya.

So far, only 25 bodies have been found.

Aid workers say the survivors are severely traumatised.
