It's reported that US president-elect Donald Trump plans to reduce America's headline tax rate to encourage companies to relocate to the United States.
The Trump administration is expected to reduce the rate from 35 to 15 percent when it comes into power in January.
It's feared this could negatively impact Ireland, as many American and multinational companies operate here under our 12.5 percent corporate tax rate.
Meanwhile, Mr Trump says those protesting against his presidency in American cities have been 'incited by the media'.
There have been further demonstrations overnight – including one in Portland in Oregon which police say is 'now considered a riot'.
