Newspaper reports today allege that if a snap election were held now- Clare would lose its Labour Government representative.
According to the Irish Independent’s political correspondents, a total of 13 Labour seats would go – including that of Michael McNamara’s.

Other constitutes thought to be at risk in the event of those figures being repeated at the next general election include Galway East, Kerry North, Carlow-Kilkenny and several electoral areas in Dublin.
