Investigations are continuing to establish if a woman found dead in India was Irish.
Local media report the body of a woman in her 20’s was found on a beach in the south of the Goa region.

One man has reportedly been arrested in connection with the incident.
The Department of Foreign Affairs say they’ve been in contact with the embassy in Delhi and are standing by to provide consular assistance if needed.
