Report Recommends Removal Of ‘Moral Duty’ From Will

The law reform commission says new inheritance laws will ensure those in real need are taken care of.

It’s issued a report recommending that parents no longer have a ‘moral duty’ to provide for their children after death.

Under the rules it will be harder for offspring to argue they didn’t get enough in the will, while parents will be entitled to spend savings on themselves.
