The British Prime Minister David Cameron is to make a statement in the House of Commons today about the murder of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane.

The Catholic father of three was shot dead by loyalist UDA/UFF gunmen at his home in the north of the city in February 1989.
A report into the 38-year-old’s murder, carried out by Sir Desmond de Silva, is due to be published today, followed by a formal statement by the British Prime Minister.
