Report Find Asylum Seekers Given Little Assistance In Moving On From Direct Provision

A new report finds that former asylum seekers are given no information and little assistance on how to move on from Direct Provision.

The study led by the Irish Refugee Council reveals that finding somewhere to live is the biggest challenge.

As well as the current housing shortage, former asylum seekers are limited finding a house by the fact that they only receive 19 euro 10 a week, so most can’t afford a deposit.
