Full details for the All Ireland Hurling Final Replay will be announced today, as Clare and Cork prepare to do battle on September 28th.
The GAA have announced a reduced ticket prices package, including special offers for children from Clare and Cork.
Domhnall O’Donovan of Clonlara scored his first ever Championship point in the dying moments of yesterday’s drawn encounter to keep Clare’s hopes alive, and earn the GAA a bonanza reportedly worth nearly three million euro.
Speaking after the game, Clare manager Davy Fitzgerald said he is proud of his players’ efforts.
As well as at the ground, thousands of Clare fans watched and listened to the game around the world.
An estimated 3,000 people were in Ennis to watch the game on a big screen in the Abbey Street Car Park.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that tonight’s planned homecoming in Ennis has been postponed while officials from Croke Park have told Clare FM that reduced ticket prices will be available for the replay in under three weeks’ time. This will include a limited number of childrens’ tickets, available only in Clare and Cork.
