There’s good news for the holders of tracker mortgages this lunchtime.

The European Central Bank has cut its main interest rates by a quarter of one per cent.
The rate means the holders of tracker mortgages will see their repayments fall from next month.
It’s estimated that about 400,000 mortgage holders in Ireland will benefit from the move.
