Renewed Efforts To Train Defibrillator Volunteers In West Clare

Renewed efforts are being made to train defibrillator volunteers in West Clare.

It follows the issue of resuscitation capacity being thrust into the spotlight following the high profile collapse of Danish footballer Christian Eriksen at the Euro 2020 tournament.

Towns such as Ennis, Kilkee and Ennistymon have multiple defibrillators installed, though there have been fresh calls to ensure more are accessible throughout the county.
