Remains Of Ape’s Arm Believed To Have Washed Up On Kilkee Beach

Experts are being sought following the mysterious discovery of what’s believed to be an ape’s arm on a Kilkee beach.

Gardaí were notified after a member of the public found what they believed to be a human limb on Farrihy beach, and the remains were sent to be tested.

A forensic examination has revealed that the bone is that of a primate, and it was returned to Clare’s County dog warden, who believes it may be a Guerilla or Chipanzee’s arm.

Frankie Coote is hoping to locate an expert to find out how it ended up on the West Clare beach.
