A former West Clare Councillor believes the region is on the verge of death due to the curtailment and decline of local health services.
It comes amid growing speculation that a GP facility in Kilrush is set to cease operations in the near future due to difficulties recruiting a full-time doctor to run the practice.
In 2016, meanwhile, Shannon Doc relocated it’s out of hours weekday GP service from Kilrush and Ennistymon to Miltown Malbay.
