The deadline for registration has been extended on one of Clare's most popular cultural events.
National Heritage Week takes place in August and in response to the hight level of interest the heritage council has had to extended the registration deadline to June 7th.

Last year over 3,000 people took part in events across Co. Clare including historical walks and talks, workshops and archaeological digs.
Tramming of the hay, Furnace Tours, The Great War and Organic Gardening are just some of the events already lined up for heritage week in Clare.
