World Premiere Of Blind Orchestra To Take Place In Ennis

The world premiere of a first-of-its-kind musical experience is taking place in Ennis today.

The Irish Memory Orchestra will be joined by Visually Impared and Blind musicians at the glór theatre, with the well-known Visionaries Choir also taking part.

The orchestra rely on memory rather than music sheets in their playing, while the visually impared musicians that will join them ordinarily cannot play with the usual orchestras, who play from sheets.
