Insurers say draft laws reforming the Personal Injuries Board won’t bring down costs.

The Bill aims to strengthen the PIAB by requiring greater cooperation for medicals.

If claimants don’t attend medicals and go on to pursue the claim in court, the judge can have regard to their failure to comply with the request.
