A reduced speed limit is set to be temporarily put in place to allow for works on Clare's busiest road.

The works are due to be carried out on the N18 dual carraigeway near Cratloe, and are set to begin on September 5th.
Clare County Council says the works are to be carried out within the central median of the dual carraigeway, and describes them as necessary.
Speed limits will be cut to as low as 60 kilometres per hour in some places, will affect both sides of the road, and the rediction is scheduled to stay in place for seven weeks until October 23rd.
