A Clare homeless service provider says the county’s recent fall in homeless figure doesn’t necessarily represent a trend.
The latest figures from the CSO show there were 69 people seeking homeless services in the county last month, down from 72 in March.

Numbers also fell across the Clare-Limerick area with 405 people without a permanent roof over their head in the Midwest, compared to 412 the previous month.
Novas’ Head of Policy and Communications , Una Byrnes has been telling Clare FM’s Seán Lyons that in light rising national figures, this decline may be a one-off occurence.
