Record Number Of Homes Completed In Clare From April To June

More homes were completed in Clare in April, May and June of this year than in any other three-month period since records began.

The number of dwellings delivered in the county in the second quarter of the year was 74% above that of the same period in 2024 and more than double the figure for the same stretch of 2023.

The Central Statistics Office’s new data on dwelling completions show 188 homes finished construction in Clare from the beginning of April to the end of June.

This is the highest number for a single three-month period since records began in 2011.

Scheme houses accounted for 45% of these while 44% were single units and 11% were apartments.

Across the period, 73 homes were delivered in the Ennis eircode area which is its third-highest quarterly figure to date.

The Killaloe area saw 42 units completed which is also its third-highest figure for a three-month period on record.

Building concluded on 39 dwellings in Kilrush while Shannon had 29 units come on stream and a total of 21 homes were finalised in Ennistymon.
