The rate of residential property sales in Clare is below the national average.

The latest figures from Geo Directory show the county has a turnover rate of 1.9%, compared to a country-wide average of 2.1%.
That represents a total of 1061 residential transactions in Clare between June 30th 2016 and the same date last year, with the average price just over 133,000 euro.
CEO of Geo Directory Dara Keogh says the figures indicate a depressed property market.
