Heavy rainfall is expected in Clare late this afternoon and evening, as a Met Eireann weather warning remains in place for the county.

Heavy thundery downpours, with rain totals of up to 40mm, are expected in places with the warning in effect for Munster, Connacht and Donegal.
It remains in place until 9 o'clock tonight.
