Quin Campaigner Fears People Will Die Over “Perfect Storm” That’s Hit Health Service

A prominent Clare campaigner fears people will die as a result of what he’s described as the perfect storm of problems that have hit the health service.

The Health Committee this week heard that a record 883 thousand people are now on waiting lists and over 21,000 patients are now waiting longer than one year for essential hospital treatment.

While up to 2 thousand people may have had their cancer undiagnosed last year.
