A social housing scheme in West Clare has been approved by the Environment Department.

Clare County Council has been given the go-ahead to proceed to the design stage for ten units and assoiated infrastructure in Quilty.
It's an extension of the existing housing scheme at Seaview Park and the local authority and consultants will now complete a design for the units which have preveiously been granted planning permission.
The design team will also look at plans for the development of a further 17 units at a later stage.
Construction is due to begin in early 2017 and will take around 12 months to complete.
