A Clare Senator says almost quarter of a milllion euro in funding for Clare businesses is a first step towards recovery in the county.

Just over 248 thousand in grant aid will be made available to businesses for research and equipment for business development through the Council-run Local Enterprise Office.
Local Enterprise Offices were launched last year, and Ennistymon Fine Gael Senator Martin Conway says this funding will help aid in job creation here.
