St Patrick’s Day will be seen from space this year – as the Egyptian pyramids and the Sphinx will go green on March 17th.

They’ll join a long list of iconic landmarks from around the world that turn emerald for St Patrick’s Day.
The Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil will also go green for the first time this year – along with the Welcome sign in Las Vegas and the Sydney Opera House in Australia.
Tourism Ireland say they have also written to Buckingham Palace – to see if the Queen would be interested in going green for St Patrick’s Day – but there’s been no response.
