It’s being argued a coordinated strategy must be in effect in Clare ahead of the next extreme weather event.
Corofin Fianna Fáil Councillor Joe Killeen is asking the Clare Local Community Development Committee to devise a Community Crisis Response Plan for events similar to Storm Éowyn.

The plan, it’s stated, would have community centres and other local hubs on standby with vital services like hot showers, kitchen areas for food preparation and storage areas equipped with essential supplies.
