A senior figure in Clare farming has moved to ease fears about the return of BSE to Ireland.

Tests that are being carried out on the remains of an animal which died on a farm in Co. Louth are expected to confirm that mad cow disease has returned here for the first time in over two years.
It's feared that this will damage our reputation internationally, and curb trade with foreign countries.
