The Púca statue is set to be unveiled at the Michael Cusack Centre in the heart of the Burren this weekend.
The bronze piece had originally been commissioned by Clare County Council last year for Ennistymon, but following local backlash and a subsequent public consultation it’s been relocated.

The artwork, which has cost an estimated €30,000, is being given a new home at the Cusack centre in Carron, which has been historically named ‘Poll a Phúca’.
Sculptor of the piece, Aidan Harte, says it’s a fitting location for the Púca to end up in.
