Pubs Close For Good Friday

Pubs in Clare and throughout Ireland are closed this Good Friday, but probably for the last time.

The Seanad has debated legislation this week which would lead to the end of the annual alcohol sales ban.

The government is not expected to oppose the law, which could be enacted on time to allow pubs open next year.
