Public meetings are to be held across Clare in the coming months to encourage communities to take action to prevent their water quality from worsening.
The Agricultural Sustainability Support and Advisory Programme, launched last year by the Agriculture Minister, is now being rolled out here.

The aim is to create awareness of fluctuations in water quality as well as give members of the community actions that they can take to prevent quality decreasing.
Public meetings are to kick off in Clare in the next month or so and Paul Mullins of Teagasc in Ennis outlines how it will work.
