Members of the public are being urged to have their say on the proposed Shannon Town Park.

The €910,000 project will see the enhancement of the existing town park woodland, and the adjacent Rineanna Park, into a flagship town park for the people of Shannon.
455 thousand euro in funding has been secured for the project, which could be completed by the end of 2018.
A 5-week period of public consultation has now begun and Councilor John Crowe, Chairperson of Shannon Municipal District believes it's a step towards a great development.
