Police in the North have launched a murder investigation into the death of a 52 year-old prison officer, Adrian Ismay, in Belfast yesterday.

The 52 year-old father of three suffered serious leg injuries when a device exploded under his van in Belfast on March 4th.
He died in hospital yesterday.
