Protest Highlighting Civilian Targeting In Ukrainian War In Ennis Tomorrow

A silent march to highlight Russia’s alleged targeting of civilians in the Ukrainian War will take place in Ennis tomorrow.

The deadliest conflict since World War Two is now well into it’s third year and has so far claimed over 400,000 lives.

Over 5,000 Ukrainian refugees are now living in Clare owing to the humanitarian fallout and a demonstration will take place from Áras Chontae An Chláir to the O’Connell Monument at 2pm tomorrow to show solidarity with the war-torn state.

Organiser Kateryna Raikove, who’s originally from Kharkiv says her people are fearing for their lives everyday.
