A protest is underway in Shannon Airport this afternoon.
The protest commenced at 1pm and aims to highlight the government inaction on the shipping of weapons through Irish airspace and the US Military’s use of the Clare base.

The protest is expected to result in traffic delays on the N19 approach road.
Shannon Airport says it apologises for any inconvenience caused and says all flights are planned to operate as per the schedule.
