* As part of The Shannon Airport Group’s decarbonisation plan, the business is transitioning to electric vehicles across its fleet.

Shannon Airport introduced the first electric medical response vehicle of any airport in Ireland. The Group is on track to exceed its target to transition 50% of all eligible vehicles within the fleet to electric by the end of 2024.

* The Shannon Airport Group and other local businesses in collaboration with Shannon Municipal District Council have sponsored a shared electric bike scheme operated by Irish company CoMotion.
