Property Report Shows Stagnant Asking Prices In Clare

A new property report shows property prices in Clare have remained largely stagnant, despite growth in several other parts of the country.

The study of asking prices from Daft.ie is the second in the space of a week to show an apparent marginal reduction in property prices in Clare.

Asking prices here fell by 0.6% over the past year to an average of just over 132 thousand euro, more than sixty thousand less than the national figure.

The largest increases were in Dublin – where the average asking price is now 25 percent higher than this time last year – but there have also been significant increases in other areas including Louth, Meath, Kildare, Wicklow, Cork and Galway.
