A prominent Clare mechanic who will be closing the doors of his workshop for the final time on Friday says that recruitment challenges played a major part in his decision.
Tony’s Auto Repairs in Shannon will wind down tomorrow after serving the local community and wider catchment area for 33 years.
Since declaring his decision to hang up his tools on social media this week, Owner Tony Considine has since received an outpouring of well wishes.

Having started as an apprentice all the way back in 1978, Tony says that while his loyal staff and customers were instrumental in his career, one friend inspired him to dream big.
