An over five-year project documenting Clare’s rich architectural art heritage will be unveiled next week.
‘Clare’s Stained Glass’ is an extensive online archive documenting the county’s historical links with stained glass from the 14th century onwards, including 130 religious and secular sites and featuring more than 1,000 images.
The project, created by Kilrush native John Glynn, will launch through Zoom next Tuesday, March 31st from 7pm to 8pm with those wishing to attend asked to email [email protected].
Clare County Council Heritage Officer Congella McGuire says this record will stand as a long-lasting account of Clare’s building heritage.
