An investigation’s been launched after a 30 year old man was shot dead in Co. Tipperary.

He was at a house on Chapel Lane in the village of Golden, when at least two gunmen arrived and opened fire shortly before 7 this morning.
The victim was taken to hospital in Clonmel, where he died a short time later – while another man who was also in the house at the time was unhurt.
Gardaí are following a number of lines of inquiry including the possibility that it may have been a case of mistaken identity
