The Chief Executive of a newly established Covid 19 drive through testing centre at Shannon Airport says the technology that will be used there for testing is on par with the state’s testing system.
The facility, run by private Irish healthcare company RocDoc, will begin offering Covid 19 testing for a fee at Shannon and Cork Airports later this week.
Using PCR and LAMP testing technology, those seeking a test will be able to book in and monitor their results through an online portal.
