Primary schools in Clare are to benefit from almost 30 million euro in funding being made available to upgrade school buildings and facilities for students and teachers.

€28.5 million has been granted by the Government for the payment of a Minor Works grant and will see 113 schools in the county receiving the funds by Friday next week.
Nationally, a further 80 million euro is being made available for the separate Summer Works scheme.
Clare Fine Gael TD Joe Carey is welcoming the announcement.
