Price Of Two-Bed Homes In Clare Rising At Fastest Rate Nationwide

The asking price for a two-bed terraced home in Clare has increased by over 30% in the last year.

Daft.ie’s latest quarterly report shows the average price of a home in this county is now over €290,000.

The analysis, which focused on the period of July to September, shows a slight reduction in the cost of a newly built home in Clare, which is now on average €375,000, down over €2,000 since June.

However for the rest of Clare’s property portfolio, there was large price hikes across the board compared to last year.

Three-bed terraced and four-bed detached homes both climbed by over 8% to command prices of €227,000 and €440,000 respectively.

The biggest jump by far came in the way of two-bed terraced homes which jumped by 31.5% since last September and are now costing an average of €219,000, which is the biggest price increase of any property type anywhere in the country.

According to Daft.ie, the average home in Q3 typically sold for 7% more than its asking price.
