President Trump Announces Irish Visit

US President Donald Trump is to visit Ireland in November.

Tonight, the White House has announced that he will visit Ireland while on a trip to Europe that will also see him attend ceremonies in Paris to mark the centenary of the end of World War One.

No further details of his Irish visit have been announced, but the news will spark speculation that Mr. Trump may visit his five-star resort in Doonbeg.

He has previously stated that he would like to see the property again, and has visited the Trump-owned Turnberry gold course in Scotland while on a visit to the UK.
